Work-Related Asthma (WRA) is asthma that is caused or triggered by conditions or substances in the workplace.

There are currently about 390 substances known to cause new onset WRA. The below links include WRA factsheets and educational resources.


Agriculture | Top

Farming is considered a high-risk industry for WRA. Farmers are exposed to many occupational asthma triggers, but there are actions that can be done to reduce risk.

Future Farmers of America (FFA)

FFA is a dynamic youth organization that is a part of agricultural education programs at middle and high schools. The Utah Asthma Program worked with the FFA to develop curriculum that can help future agriculture workers protect their health.
