The Utah Department of Health has produced a video documentary entitled, “Battling Back: Taking on Bioterrorism in Utah .” The 45-minute program, highlights what public health agencies in Utah have done to prepare for bioterrorism. “Battling Back” also shows what the public can do to prepare for public health emergencies. The program presents real-life scenarios of how Utah has responded to past disease cases and includes interviews with medical experts that explain what bioterrorism means for Utahns. \

The “Battling Back” Emergency Planning Guide   Become a Volunteer

In addition to the video documentary, the UDOH has created a guide that can help Utahns create their own emergency kits and plans. The guide also explains the diseases considered most dangerous in the hands of terrorists. It's available as a PDF at the link below, or at your local health department. Ready.gov also provides helpful emergency preparedness tips.
