HIV/AIDS Surveillance

The Utah HIV/AIDS Surveillance program is responsible for assessing and documenting HIV disease incidence and prevalence in Utah. This is accomplished through epidemiological studies and seroprevalence studies.

Supplement to the 2004 HIV Prevention and HIV/AIDS Treatment and Care Needs Assessment Report. The 2005 Utah HIV Prevention Hispanic Needs Assessment was designed to help the Utah HIV Prevention Community Planning Committee (CPC) make evidence based decisions concerning the HIV prevention needs of Hispanics in Utah.
The 2004 Utah HIV Prevention and HIV/AIDS Treatment and Care Needs Assessment was designed to help the Utah HIV Prevention Community Planning Committee and the Utah HIV/AIDS Treatment and Care Planning Committee make evidence based decisions concerning the needs of PLWH/A in Utah.
The MSM survey was designed to help the HIV Prevention Community Planning Committee (CPC) and the HIV Prevention Program, under the Utah Department of Health Bureau of Communicable Disease Control, make evidence-based decisions concerning MSM HIV prevention needs throughout the State of Utah.

The IDU survey was designed to help the HIV Prevention Community Planning Committee (CPC) and the HIV Prevention Program, under the Utah Department of Health Bureau of Communicable Disease Control, make evidence-based decisions concerning IDU HIV prevention needs throughout the State of Utah.
