About CFHS:

CFHS provides services that are related to health promotion, maternal and child health, and services for children with special health care needs. Priority activities for the CFHS Division include:

• Improve the coordination of health services by using better information systems
• Reduce Utah's high rate of suicide among young men
• Improve Utah's immunization rates
• Reduce smoking and help teens and adults quit
• Improve access to preventive dental care as well as dental treatment services
• Provide more coordination for early childhood services to families
• Address the epidemic of overweight and obese Utahns
• Screen all children for special health care needs
