-October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The City of Salt Lake is hosting a breast cancer awareness event on the 21st of October; 10 am, at the Downtown Farmers Market (300 W. 300 S.). The main focus with the event is to inform Salt Lake City's minority groups of the resources available to them for Cancer screening and

treatments in addition to raising awareness about the disease.
