- October 21: The Indian Walk in Center 8th Annual Health Fair from 8am-4pm at the IWIC 120 W. 1300 S. To host a booth or volunteer contact mnavajo@iwic.org

 

- October 21: The GLBT Community Center is holding the Alternative Women’s Health Fair for Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender women at the Salt Lake Hardware building. -October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The City of Salt Lake is hosting a breast cancer awareness event on the 21st of October; 10 am, at the Downtown Farmers Market (300 W. 300 S.). The main focus with the event is to inform Salt Lake City's minority groups of the resources available to them for Cancer screening and

treatments in addition to raising awareness about the disease.

 When:  Saturday, October 21, 2006 -- 10 a.m.

Where: Downtown Farmers Market, Pioneer Park (300 West 300 South).
