The Utah Diabetes Prevention and Control Program offers a FREE monthly Brown Bag Telehealth Lunch Series held the third Wednesday of each month from 12-1p.m. The purpose of the series is to keep healthcare professionals abreast of the most up-to-date diabetes information and professional development. Continuing Education Credits are available for nurses (1.5 hours) and dietitians (1 hour).

Registration is required. Please contact Betsi Patino by e-mail or at (801) 538-6593 to schedule telehealth-video or telephone links at least one week prior to each conference.
Certificates will only be available to those who send in their sign-in form. Certificates will be sent electronically, unless you request a hard copy.

The Eccles Health Sciences Library is partnering with the Utah Telehealth Network and other health education / health services organizations to provide information support to their training and continuing education programs. Currently, the Eccles Library, the Utah Telehealth Network and the Utah Department of Health are working together to present the Diabetes Brownbag Series. Librarians are available to assist you or your organization in setting up brown bags.
