Utah Department of Health data about each local health area is now available on one screen for easy access. Each snapshot includes dozens of current, local health indicators with comparisons to statewide rates and where available, national rates.
This report ranks the health of the county against other counties in Utah based on mortality, morbidity, health behaviors, clinical care, social and economic factors, and the physical environment. The County Health Rankings are a collaboration between the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute, and part of the Mobilizing Action Toward Community Health (MATCH) project.
The Community Health Status Indicators website is maintained by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and provides over 200 measures for each of the 3,141 United States counties. This website is unique because it compares the health of each county to its “peers”: other counties across the nation with similar demographics. The link below opens to a summary table comparing your county to its national peers and the nation as a whole. You can see more specific data by clicking on the data catagories that will appear on the yellow menu to the left of the table.
