Automated Incident System (AIS)
About AISVersion 2.1 of the Prehospital Incident Reporting software was released in June 1996 and distributed to all requesting EMS agencies. The manual for version 2.1 should be used for general information only. Revised instructions are included in a README.TXT file with each AIS revision. A ZIP file of the most recent AIS version can be downloaded from this site (AIS 2.3.1). Agencies should contact their BEMS Regional Coordinator for more specific installation instructions. CME information is no longer required using the AIS software and this component will be discontinued in future revisions. Use "Verify and export to State" option in the BEMS Automated Incident System (AIS) program to submit data to the state on disk/CD. Please notify the Bureau of EMS about data entry or reporting problems. Note all error message details. Agencies not using BEMS software should contact their Regional Coordinator. Export files for submission to BEMS must be in fixed-length ASCII format and include the data elements defined by the State EMS Committee. Please advise BEMS of the operating system being used on the computer running the AIS data system. Also, the vendor and product name of the non-BEMS EMS data systems being used.
