In an effort to improve training in EMT-Basic (EMT-B) courses, the Bureau of Emergency Medical Services in collaboration with the EMT subcommittee have developed the EMT-B Teaching and Testing Guidelines (TTGs). The TTGs have been designed as a replacement for the Teaching and Testing Protocols (TTPs). If you are currently using the TTPs, please continue to use them for the remainder of your course or until your supply of TTPs is exhausted. This new training guide will not affect the State of Utah testing procedures or replace any aspect of the Department of Transportation National Standard Curricula. We hope that you can utilize this new educational tool to enhance the training experience in all EMT-B courses.
