Bureau of Epidemiology

The Bureau of Epidemiology works to prevent sickness and death from infectious diseases or environmental hazards. The Bureau monitors diseases and works to keep them from spreading. The Bureau is also responsible for watching out for and responding to bioterrorism or an influenza pandemic.
