E. coli

E. coli is a bacteria that lives in the intestines of humans and animals. By eating food containing the bacteria one can become infected. Eating uncooked ground beef is the most common way to get the infection. Symptoms range from mild diarrhea to severe abdominal cramps, respiratory illness and pneumonia.
