Electronic laboratory reporting (ELR) is a secure, automated mechanism for the reporting of reportable disease conditions by hospital and commercial laboratories.

Hospitals wanting to submit electronic health record (EHR) results to public health to qualify for meaningful use incentive payments should review and complete the documents in the Hospital section below.

Laboratories wanting to submit electronic laboratory report (ELR) results to public health should review and complete the documents in the Laboratory section below.
