This program is responsible for monitoring residential, occupational, institutional and recreational environments for environmental health hazards. Core functions include policy, development, training and technical assistance, setting priorities and assuring the quality of environmental health service statewide. Other activities include assisting state and local agencies to identify and address environmental health problems. Program areas include swimming pools, indoor air quality, hotels/motels, schools and the Utah Indoor Clean Air Act.
