By knowing your family health history, you can save your life!

The U.S. Surgeon General has declared Thanksgiving Day as National Family History Day. Americans are encouraged to learn more about their family health history during the holiday season.

A tool to help collect your family health history, called "My Family Health Portrait", is available at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services website.
