Your family doctor is great, your child can’t wait to see his pediatrician, but the lab staff is slow and unfriendly. Even though a health plan provides countless services, it is important that the quality of all those services be good. This question asked respondents to rate the overall quality of the medical care and services they received from their plan.
The survey results indicate that enrollees with chronic illnesses tend to be less satisfied with the quality of their medical care and services. Their complex needs, differing expectations, and more frequent use of medical services may be a factor in this reduced overall satisfaction with the quality of medical care.
| More than four out of every five respondents seem to be satisfied with their health plan’s overall quality of medical care and services. |
