The fact is, in managed care you have to choose a doctor who is affiliated with the plan. Therefore it is simple arithmetic that the more doctors you have to choose from, the easier it will probably be to find one you can be happy with. This question asked respondents to rate how satisfied they were with the number of doctors available to them through their plan.

The majority of the surveyed enrollees were satisfied with the choice of doctors provided by their HMOs. It must be noted that the proportion of enrollees answering "poor" and "fair" in this question is higher than for other measures.
