Ultimately, how a patient feels after having been treated is more important than whether or not he or she received the most technologically advanced treatment. Of ultimate importance to enrollees is whether they feel that the care they received in their plan helped improve their medical condition. This question asked enrollees to rate their satisfaction with the outcomes of the medical care they received from their health plan.

Overall, two out of every three members of the five participating Utah health plans rated their HMOs as "excellent" or "very good" in this area.
