New UCWHP Committee
The Utah Council for Worksite Health Promotion is pleased to announce the formation of a new committee dedicated to helping businesses establish health and wellness programs and receiving state recognized awards for their efforts.   Utah Department of Health Worksite Toolkit
Getting started in worksite health promotion can be a daunting task, but with a new toolkit produced by the Utah Department of Health it doesn't have to be. This new toolkit provides step by step instruction on how to start a program, identify target areas, and improve areas of concern if you are just beginning, or have a program already in place.

  Healthy Living With Chronic Conditions Classes
These classes are designed to help older adults who have a chronic health condition or who have a relationship with someone living with a chronic condition. Topics will include dealing with difficult emotions, exercise, appropriate use of medications, effective communications skills, nutrition, and evaluating new treatments. The program runs for six weeks, once a week, for two and a half hours and will be taught by certified facilitators.
