Bureau of Chemical and Environmental Services

The Bureau of Chemical and Environmental Services focuses on two program areas: environmental testing and chemical threat response (CT). It tests for contaminants in drinking water, lakes and rivers, and other materials in coordination with its partners. The CT response team assists with analytical services and response to chemical emergencies.
