Bureau of Laboratory Improvement
The Bureau of Laboratory Improvement is responsible for the certification of laboratories performing specific duties. It ensures that laboratories perform tests properly. The Bureau provides quality assurance assistance, safety training, and technical services within the Utah Public Health Laboratory. The Bureau also manages the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) certification program for Utah.
