Your Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) is a great place to start. CCR&R collects detailed information about providers which may include vacancies, ages of children accepted, hours of care, curriculum, languages spoken, elementary schools transportation, and special needs care. CCR&R uses this information to provide free customized parent referrals. Please click here to contact the CCR&R in your area.
Care About Childcare is an excellent resource to know more about child care providers in Utah. Care About Childcare is intended to promote quality child care and to help parents locate licensed providers in their area. After you have found and selected a potential child care provider for your children, you can click on the "View Licensing Record" button next to the provider's name to find information about substantiated complaint allegations and cited findings for the past 2 years. If you need more information about licensing issues, you can call one of our regional offices to find out the inspection results for that provider.
