The Prescription Pain Medication Advisory Committee has been organized as a way to include and involve the large number of stakeholders in the community who work with or are concerned about prescription pain medications. Through this committee, we can coordinate our efforts and also incorporate advice from others with expertise and knowledge in this area in order to achieve our objective of reducing deaths relating to prescription pain medication. The Advisory Committee meetings are a place where we build on each other’s plans and benefit from the synergy of our organized efforts.
The Advisory Committee meets quarterly.
