Utah Rural Health Photo Contest

Celebrating the Beauty of Rural Utah

The Utah Office of Primary Care and Rural Health (OPCRH) announces the Annual Utah Rural Photo Contest. We encourage you to be creative and share visually what “rural” means to you!

We have requested Governor Gary R. Herbert to declare the week of November 13 -19, 2016 as Rural Health Week in Utah and encourage rural communities to celebrate with activities that improve the health of rural Utahns.

Contestants are welcome to submit one or more photos until 5:00 pm on Monday, October 24, 2016.

Please submit up to 8 photos per entry form in a .jpeg format with your best minimum resolution to opcrh@utah.gov. Please complete and include the Media Consent Form/Photo Entry with your submission.

First, second and third places will be awarded prizes from OPCRH.

Photos will be judged by the Office of Primary Care and Rural Health based on creativity, originality, photo quality, how well they communicate the concept of “rural,” and overall appeal. Winners will be notified by November 7, 2016 and photos will be posted on the OPCRH website, http://health.utah.gov/primarycare/.

Upon submission, all photos become the sole property of the Utah Department of Health and can be used for any purpose with credit to the photographer.
