What is WeeCare?

• WeeCare is PEHP's prenatal program. The purpose of WeeCare is to help expectant mothers have a healthy pregnancy, a safe delivery, and a healthy baby. Those insured through any PEHP plan (including Preferred Care, Advantage Care, CHIP, and other plans) or Altius Summit Care are eligible to participate.
• The program is staffed with two Registered Nurses, Kathy Pope & Debbie Miller. After you enroll, they will contact you to explain the WeeCare program and answer any questions. Please plan on the interview lasting about 10 to 30 minutes.
• The WeeCare nurses will be available to you throughout your pregnancy if you have questions or to help you understand information you receive from your doctor or midwife.
• WeeCare nurses can be reached by email, phone, FAX, or mail. WeeCare is open Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. WeeCare is closed Friday through Sunday and all state holidays. Here is our contact information:

Enrollment Rewards:

• By enrolling during your first trimester (the first 14 weeks of pregnancy), you are eligible to receive a $100 rebate from PEHP. If you enroll during your second trimester (15 to 28 weeks of pregnancy), you are eligible for a $50 rebate. If your PEHP plan is still in effect at the time of delivery (live birth, miscarriage, etc.), the rebate check is mailed to the policyholder when you report the birth.
• Most PEHP insured employer groups waive the prescription prenatal vitamin copay for women who enroll in WeeCare before their 28th week of pregnancy. Contact WeeCare if you have questions about your eligibility for this benefit.
• All women who enroll in WeeCare at any time during pregnancy receive educational materials, their choice of a book about pregnancy or child care, and access to the WeeCare nurses to answer questions.

Enrollment:

• To enroll in WeeCare, please complete the enrollment form by clicking on the button below. All enrollment information is confidential.
• You must be pregnant to enroll in WeeCare. Those planning for a pregnancy in the future can request information about pregnancy planning by emailing us your name and mailing address. Then keep our contact information handy to enroll in WeeCare when you become pregnant.
• Those who prefer may enroll by calling our enrollment hotline at (801) 538-9943 in the Salt Lake area or 1-800-662-9660 toll-free. The enrollment hotline is open Monday to Thrusday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The hotline is closed on all state holidays.
