Ovarian Cancer Dialogue for Action
The Utah Department of Health worked with the Cancer Research and Prevention Foundation (CRPF) to hold the first Ovarian Cancer Dialogue for Action™ (DFA) in the nation for healthcare providers on May 5, 2007.
The morning sessions included education on current data, screening, treatment, and advocacy for ovarian cancer. After lunch, participants discussed:
- how to enhance relationships and collaboration among providers
- how providers, survivors, and advocates can form partnerships
- what messages should be included in an awareness campaign and how those messages should be disseminated.
