Lung cancer is the 5th most common cancer in Utah. In 2007, 582 people were diagnosed with lung cancer. Utah has the lowest lung cancer rate of all 50 states. In Utah 26 out of 100,000 people have lung cancer. In the United States, 66 out of 100,000 people have lung cancer.
