How is pancreatic cancer treated?

Treatment for pancreatic cancer depends on each individual person and how far their cancer has spread. Surgery, radiation, or chemotherapy may be used to treat pancreatic cancer.

Some people with pancreatic cancer choose to participate in clinical trials. By participating in clinical trials, people can get access to treatments not yet on the market. Because the treatments used in clinical trials are still being tested, doctors may not be able to tell you what to expect.
