OVARIAN CANCER
In 2007, there will be 22,430 new cases of Ovarian Cancer diagnosed in the United States and 15,280 women will die from the disease. Ovarian Cancer accounts for 3% of all cancers, but it causes more deaths than any other cancer of the reproductive system. Risk for Ovarian Cancer increases with age and peaks in the late 70's. There is no routine screening test for Ovarian Cancer.
