Do I have to select a health plan?

Utah residents along the Wasatch front (inlcuding Weber, Davis, Salt Lake, and Utah counties) must select a health plan unless eligibility is only being established for past months, a current month and no more, or eligibility is being established under special medical programs. Residents in rural areas of the state may select a health plan or a PCP(Primary Care Provider).

HPR (Health Program Representatives) are available along the Wasatch front to help you choose the best health plan for you. In the rural areas of the state, contact your local health department.
