Can I keep my Medicaid drug benefit if I have Medicare?

No, as of January 1, 2006, Medicaid will not continue the drug coverage under Medicaid for Medicare Part D recipients. Drug coverage will be replaced by Medicare Part D. You must be enrolled in a private Medicare-approved prescription drug plan (PDP).
