What maternity and midwife services are covered?
You may choose to see a specialist such as an OBGYN or CNM (Certified Nurse Midwife). Medicaid Covers:- prenatal visis, lab work and tests inluding ultra sound
- charges for labor and delivery
- anesthesia (pain treatment during delivery)
- hospital stay, you may stay as long as your provider feels it is medically necessary
- your 6 week checkup after the baby is born
