An HPR works with the Medicaid program, usually in the Department of Workforce Services (DWS) or rural Local Health Departments (LHD).
- Your HPR has classes about Medicaid benefits.
- During the class your HPR will talk to you about the health plans in your area.
- The HPR will help you choose a health plan that will work best for you.
- You may be able to change a health plan by contacting your HPR.
